Dr. Christian Heesch has been practicing medicine mainly in Alabama for the last ten years. However, he received the majority of his medical training in Europe. Dr. Christian Heesch is hopeful that his efforts in medical school have allowed him ultimately help patients during his career.
Dr. Christian Heesch began attending medical school in Germany. There, he completed a 6-year dual undergraduate/graduate course at the Free University of Berlin. This combined undergrad and graduate program included both the preclinical and clinical aspects of medical education. While enrolled in this program, Dr. Christian Heesch
also studied as an exchange student and sub-intern in the fields of general surgery, ophthalmology, and cardiology. He did his work as an exchange student in Paris, France, at the Pierre and Marie Currie University, and in Santiago, Spain at the Hospital General de Galicia.
Leaving Germany, Spain and France behind, Dr. Christian Heesch then continued his medical studies in the United States in order to complete his post-graduate work. After serving as an intern and resident in Internal Medicine, he completed fellowships in Peripheral Interventional Procedures, Heart Failure and Transplant Medicine, and Cardiovascular Diseases.

specializes in treating patients who suffer from diseases and illnesses related to the heart and the cardiovascular system. While Dr. Christian Heesch is a Cardiovascular and Peripheral Vascular Specialist, he works as a general practitioner as well. Dr. Christian Heesch is licensed to practice medicine in Alabama, United State, and in Ghana, West Africa.
As a clinician, Dr. Christian Heesch helps to treat patients with a number of issues.
