A dedicated and inspired preacher, Dr. Carfrey has an impressive background in his field: he preached his first sermon at the age of 12 and was ordained at the age of 21. In his current position he is responsible for teaching pastoral courses, as well as teaching the last nine books of the New Testament. Appalachian Bible College is a Christian college that provides Bible and Pastoral Education, as well as general faith-based higher education.

Dr. Carfrey received his Doctorate of Ministry from the Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Clark Summit, Pennsylvania. He is the former Vice President of Student Services at Appalachian Bible College and has been the coordinator of the pastoral program there for the past ten years.
