An experienced LASIK eye surgeon and board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Sanders was named one of America's Top Cataract and Refractive Surgeons by the Consumer Research Council of America. He was also voted a top doctor in H-Texas Magazine survey four years in a row.
Dr. Sanders has outstanding academic credentials. He graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in North Carolina, and was a Fulbright School, attending the University of Munich in Germany, before pursuing a career in medicine. Dr. Sanders received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Texas, and served a residency in ophthalmology at the Ochsner Foundation in New Orleans. He turned to the Baylor College of Medicine to pursue advanced training in cataract and refractive surgery.
Today, Dr. Sanders is a recognized leader in the field of LASIK Surgery. He was among the first to begin performing laser vision correction more than a decade ago and has continued to pioneer the most advanced techniques as they are developed.
Dr. Sanders enjoys sharing his knowledge and is a part-time professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he teaches surgeons in training.
