Dr. Mayoor Patel Celebrates 19 Years In Specialized Dentistry

Dr. Mayoor Patel began his dental career at the University of Tennessee where he received his dental degree in 1994. After graduation he went on to complete a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). In 2001 he earned a Masters in Science from Tufts University and then accepted a position as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts Dental School. He is currently one of five dental professionals in Georgia to be Board Certified in Dental Sleep Medicine, which further showcases his commitment and dedication to the proper treatment of sleep apnea for Atlanta patients.

To expand on his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Mayoor Patel has completed well over 1500 hours of postgraduate education courses in the area of Sleep Medicine, Craniofacial Pain, Sleep disorders and Orthotics. And since 2003, he has limited his practice in Atlanta to treatment of TMJ, sleep apnea, headaches, neck pain, facial pain and snoring. He also recently opened a dental lab with Hector Rico.
