Dr. Richard Teach Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

ATLANTA, GA, July 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Dr. Richard Teach, Professor Emeritus at the Georgia Institute of Technology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

Dr. Teach has 45 years of overall professional experience. As a professor, he was responsible for instructing on marketing models, product development, simulation and gaming for educational purposes. With a faculty member of Georgia Institute of Technology, he was president of the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning (ABSEL) from 2008 to 2009, and of the International Simulation and Gaming Association (ISAGA) from 2005 to 2006. From 1972 to 1980, he was the Associate Dean for the College of management at Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors for the Graduate Management Admission Council from 1977 to 1980. He regularly teaches part-time at the Grenoble School of Management and for the MBA program at Picardie/Amiens, France.

In 1968, Dr. Teach was awarded his Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University. He was awarded his MBA in 1961 and a BS in Agriculture in 1960, both from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the International Simulation and Gaming Association, and The Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning. He is a fellow of The Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning Conference

Dr. Teach has delivered over 150 invited academic papers and lectures and over 50 competitive papers throughout the United States, and in over 35 countries on five continents. He has also published over 125 peer reviewed articles. Some of these have been published in Management Science, Operational Research Quarterly, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Academy of Management Review and Simulation and Gaming. In 1994, Dr. Teach received the Outstanding Service Award, at the 25th Anniversary of the Journal of the Simulation and Gaming Association.
