    Canton, Ohio, January 3, 2013 /Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Dr. Cole, director of allied health and professional development for Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education administration.

Dr. Cole served in the military overseas, where she made a promise to God that if she were to return home safely, she would go back to continue her education in a field dedicated to helping others. She believes that professional development occurs through collaboration. She has honed in on the ability to listen actively, establish open communication, to promote trust, and develop a sense of humor to sustain working relationships.

Now with a total of 17 years of professional experience, she thrives as an exemplary education administrator. For the past six years she has served as director of allied health and professional development for Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Her areas of expertise include curriculum design, new program development, teaching, accreditation processes, strategic planning, and leadership and organizational change. She teaches radiation physics and introductory sociology. She is also a consultant to the Chancellor of the State of Ohio, reviewing new program proposals for other colleges and universities for the Ohio Board of Regents.

Dr. Cole received a Ph.D. in applied management and decision sciences with a focus in leadership and organizational change in 2012 from Walden University; a master of business administration in leadership and business in 2007 from Baker College; and a Bachelor of Arts in business management in 1998 from Malone College. She holds certification, respectively, in radiology, mammography and instructional design. She is a member of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), the American College of Radiology (ACR), The Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA), the Association on Education in Imaging in Radiologic Sciences (AIERS), United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), Ohio Board of Regents (OBR), Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists (OSRT), the OSRT education committee, Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT), the National Association of Proffessional Women (NAPW), the Sterling Registry, United Way Women's Leadership Council, Canton Preservation Society, and The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (ASPCA). She is an honorably discharged medaled veteran and received over 11 service medals and is a two-time recipient of the Army Commendation Medal for her service during Desert Shield/Storm/Farewell. She was distinguished as a VIP member of the Mercy Medical Center.

Dr. Cole has pulished her dissertation, entitled: Surveying Radiology Faculty to Examine Age, Tenure, Gender and Resistance to Change in the Proquest database and the worldwide web. She is currently working on two future articles on organizational change and management styles. She is scheduled as a Guest Speaker at the AIERS Annual National Conference in 2013, lectures on Professional Development, Introduction to Sociology, and Radiation Equipment, Image Analysis, and Radiation Protection. Dr. Cole is interested in obtaining more speaking engagements in her field of expertise.

In 2011, Dr. Cole was inducted as a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Education Adminstration. In 2012, she was selected as a Worldwide Who's Who Top Female Executive representing her field.
