Blue Mountain Coffee featured on Fox 2 News

The coffee from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica is known for it's superior taste, mild flavor, low acidity and low caffeine

DETROIT, MI, February 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Now 285 years later, for true coffee lovers like Chadwick Conte, sipping a cup of well-brewed specialty coffee can be the highpoint of his day. His love of coffee led him to do research into the best coffee the world has to offer, which in turn led him to Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee and Kona Coffee from Hawaii. After more years of research he opened an Internet-based coffee business called C&C Specialty Coffee.

C&C Specialty Coffee specializes in importing and selling 100 percent Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. U.S. demand is such that the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee sells for around $40 per pound. However in Asian markets where 80 percent of it is shipped it can sell for as high as $100 per pound.

Regular wholesale coffee prices recently topped the $3 mark for the first time in the commodities market, and the growing demand for specialty coffees like Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee and Kona means bigger profits for resellers like C&C. Sales continue to rise as more and more consumers demand better tasting coffee.

"The coffee from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica is known for it's superior taste, mild flavor, low acidity and low caffeine, something many people look for in a good coffee," says Conte. "Both coffees are available in medium or dark roast, in whole bean or ground and make a very unique gift to give to others for just about any occasion."

"The Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee experience integrates a cup of exceptional balance, and an exotic and intense aroma, along with an intricate range of flavor notes which may include within the bouquet, a subtle hint of herbs, spice and chocolate. Both coffees are rare and make excellent gifts for family, friends, bosses, and co-workers."

"I think anyone that experiences the taste of Jamaica or Hawaii will be hooked!"

C&C Specialty Coffee is certified by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica, member of the Kona Coffee Farmers Association and has been featured on Fox 2 News, Hour Detroit, Oakland Press and the Macomb Daily.
