    PRAIRIE VIEW, TX, July 29, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- E. Andrea Miller, Program Services Director for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in social services.

With 24 years in the industry, Ms. Miller is recognized as an expert in program development. In her current position, she is responsible for overseeing the delivery of educational services to people with developmental disabilities. Ms. Miller brings to her position previous experience as the agency's assistant superintendent for programs and with Brenham State School as director of residential services, certified teacher and residential director. She attributes her success to continuing her education, keeping abreast of industry developments, and enjoying the support of her colleagues.

Ms. Miller is currently pursuing her Master of Science, with a concentration in Family Management Therapy and Health and Human Sciences, at Prairie View A&M University. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling in 1996, her Master of Education in Special Education in 1981, and her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Drama in 1979, all from PVAMU. Her professional affiliations include the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Zeta Phi Beta. She gives generously to her local police and fire departments, The National Children's Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association. Ms. Miller looks forward to increasing her involvement in volunteer work.
