Over the course of his career, he has worked with such prominent brands as Toyota, Visa, Gillette, Canon and Diageo. He excels as a partner and director of integration for MEC, a global media agency that provides planning and buying, as well as other strategic communications solutions to clients. This includes all aspects of social media strategy and activation. Mr. Shearer is a senior member of the Data Integration and Management Team, and leads global data integration projects for brands including Colgate Palmolive and Citbank.
Mr. Shearer attributes his success to his strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and practice of treating others the way that he would like to be treated. Mr. Shearer earned a master of arts in communications in 1998 from The New School. His goals for the next five years include becoming a professor, starting his own consulting business, and venturing into writing.
