/24-7PressRelease/ - MINNEAPOLIS, MN, August 23, 2008 - Now a days, there seems to be a pill for everything. From daily vitamins to antihistamines to medication for clinical depression and eliminating anxiety, there's a pill for virtually every ailment known to modern man. However, many drugs warn that they may affect the patient's liver or other organs. What is the solution?
Colet Lahoz, founder of the East-West Clinics in White Bear Lake and Roseville, Minnesota takes a very different view to healing the body. She believes the body can heal itself without taking drugs or enduring painful, invasive surgeries. She also believes that many prescription drugs have their counterpart in herbal medicines which do not have adverse side effects and are not needed long term.
"I knew there had to be an alternative to [taking] drugs and surgery," Lahoz said. "And I knew there was a more compassionate, safe, efficient and effective way to care for sick people."
The East-West Clinics specialize in treating yeast infections which lead to diseases such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety disorders, allergies, Chron's disease, leaky gut syndrome, Parkinson's disease ,MSA and many other chronic illnesses. Her protocol for the Treatment of Shy- Drager Syndrome which was published in an international journal is the only program so far that has proven success in reversing and or stopping the progression of this crippling disease. Patients come to Minnesota from other states and other countries for her treatment.
Lahoz received her BS in nursing, has her master's degree in science and additionally completed training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which led her to working with acupuncture - for which she is professionally licensed. In addition to having these degrees, she is also the author of the book Conquering Yeast Infections: The Non-Drug Solution for Men and Women .
The clinic was initially conceived to help patients using TCM,( traditional Chinese medicine )which is not only effective for pain related problems but also many illnesses. Her interest in systemic yeast infections came later as she realized that a lot of chronic diseases that do not respond to drugs or acupuncture are people with this condition. She eventually wrote her research findings and her recommendation in her book that is now in it's 6th edition. The Clinic also offers fitness and nutrition counseling, acupuncture and herbal medicine in addition to meditation and exercise planning for their patients.
