Zeibig, Vice Chairwoman of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science at Saint Louis University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in science and higher education.
Possessing over 26 years of professional experience, Elizabeth A. Zeibig serves as Vice Chairwoman for the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science at Saint Louis University. Now entering her 16th year in academia, Ms. Zeibig is responsible for overseeing administrative duties, scheduling internships for clinical laboratory science students, and conducting educational research. She also teaches courses in parasitology, blood banking and laboratory management.
Ms. Zeibig specializes in said fields, having published the textbook entitled, Clinical Parasitology: A Practical Approach and developed a learning model, "Case by Collaboration," which serves as a web-based model applicable to all disciplines of study. She has also served as an editor for a series of books published by Pearson Education. Attributing her success to her self-motivation, hard work and supportive family, she aspires to deliver speeches nationwide and act as a field consultant as she moves forward in her career.
Ms. Zeibig holds a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from Saint Louis University, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Saint Louis University and a bachelor of science in medical technology from Culver-Stockton College. Active within her professional community, she holds membership with the American Society for Clinical Pathology and American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at local animal hospitals.
