    GREAT BARRINGTON, MA, September 11, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Elizabeth Gowan, Owner & President of Xtaland, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in music production.

Inspired by her husband, who owned a recording studio, Mrs. Gowan established Xtaland, a music production company. An experienced songwriter, she is responsible for writing music, overseeing production, and serving as a reviewing artist. She is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Mrs. Gowan attributes her success to her self-belief.

Mrs. Gowan received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1978 from SUNY Cortland. She gives generously to the American Cancer Society and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. She looks forward to expanding her business futher and writing more songs.
