A senior planning and development specialist with extensive experience in implementation and evaluation of projects, planning, and design and formulation within coastal resource management and integrated rural development, Ms. Ablaza has amassed 30 years of experience in the management consulting industry. She began her career in the early 1980s writing numerous technical papers and editing published and unpublished works for a variety of international organizations. In 1989, Ms. Ablaza made the decision to establish her own company, Pacific Rim Innovation and Management Exponents (PRIMEX), which is a management consulting firm that has managed more than 200 projects in 28 countries in the Asia-Pacific region and has consistently ranked among the Top 3 Philippine consulting firms registered with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the last 15 years. As the president and CEO of the company, she oversees the daily operations of the firm, ensures satisfactory performance of the consulting team and the timely completion of products, and directs company projects. She also writes most of the company's proposals for submission to prospective clients.
Recognized as an expert in her field, Ms. Ablaza attributes her professional success to her passion for excellence, her hard work, and her commitment to quality.
Ms. Ablaza received her master's degree in biology (Meritissimus) from the University of Santo Tomas and a bachelor's degree in biology (magna cum laude) from the College of the Holy Spirit, both in Manila, Philippines. She is actively involved with the Institute of Management Consultants of the Philippines (IMPHIL), where she was honored with the Leadership Award, and the Confederation of Filipino Consulting Organizations (COFILCO). Moreover, she was the first female president of both organizations.
