SALT LAKE CITY, UT, December 01, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Emergency food storage supplier Blue Chip Group, Inc. has announced that in light of the current economic conditions, and to help people start or build their emergency food storage, they are giving away a free 2 lb. bag of Morning Moos alternative milk to every family at their outlet store Dec. 4 - 10, 2008.

The demand for emergency food storage continues to grow as concerns about economic troubles, natural disasters, and even terrorism weigh on the minds of the public. Jeff Augason of Blue Chip Group, Inc. says his company is meeting the demand with increased hours of operation and a special milk give-away designed to help everyone who would like to store food.

"We want to help people get started with emergency food storage, or increase their supplies by giving away a free bag of Morning Moos to each family who comes into our outlet store. There are no strings attached, and nothing else to buy. The bag of milk is absolutely free," explained Augason.

During the give-away there will be free classes, demonstrations, and samples of emergency food storage items. There will also be drawings for prizes, according to Augason.

Founded in 1972 by Phil Augason, Blue Chip Group, Inc. is a family-owned business that provides high quality storage foods in bulk quantities to save money, and help customers prepare for troubled times. The company has recently opened a new outlet store at the firm's packaging plant in Salt Lake City at 432 West 3440 South.

"Good tasting food that can be used on a regular basis, and also be kept safely in long-term storage is in greater demand than ever before," said Augason. "People are always surprised when they taste Morning Moos alternative milk because it actually tastes really good, costs much less than milk from the store, and can be kept in storage for 10 years or more."

The company offers free information and tips about food storage on a web site at http://www.FoodStorageIdeas.com along with a free newsletter. Orders can be placed online, and then picked up at the outlet store, or by stopping by the store in person to purchase off the shelf. Shipping is also available for those who live outside the area, according to Augason.
