With 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Specht specializes in pest management, arboriculture and the writing of grant proposals. She handles budgeting, attends committee meetings and manages multiple grants. She became involved in her position after gaining invaluable experience as an arborist, and she attributes her success to her hard work and dedication to teaching.
Ms. Specht received her Master of Science in Educational Administration. She is a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture and is a Pest Control Advisor and also serves as the president of the San Diego Chapter of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers. In the future, she intends to retire and establish her own grant writing business.
