LONDON, ENGLAND, December 05, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A secondary ticket agent has decided to launch TickBay, a new auction website dedicated to the sale of tickets. Mr B. Beaumont from Manchester states that "Ever since eBay decided to stop allowing me to sell tickets I decided to start a new auction site, this is where TickBay started."
The website has been live less than 7 days and already has had around a 1000 visitors both selling and bidding on tickets.

TickBay works in exactly the same way as eBay but is specific to the secondary ticket market in the UK. At present TickBay is free to both buy and sell tickets but in the future this may change. "We have no plans to introduce a cost at present but this is something that all users will be given plenty of notice for."

The main competitors to TickBay are StubHub, Seatwave and Viagogo but these websites charge a minimum 12% of the total cost for both the buyer and seller which therefore makes final ticket prices more expensive.

"One further advantage we have is that customers are able to add their tickets to TickBay right up until the start of the event, this allows last minute sales in which competitors cannot process these demands." is aimed at anyone that either wants to sell a ticket in an auction style format or buyers that want ticket bargains at lower prices than other websites.

The Director Barry Beaumont has been involved in the secondary ticket market for more than 10 years and has now decided to focus on TickBay as a business.

TickBay specialises in the sale of tickets between buyer and seller in an auction style format. TickBay is free to register and has zero fees for buying and selling.
