/24-7PressRelease/ -- Cydney Bare, interim administrator of Fairhaven Community, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA).
ACHCA is the professional society for long-term care administrators. Advancement to fellow is the highest level of membership in the organization. Becoming a fellow requires participation in professional continuing education, suitable formal education, community service and at least two years of voting membership.
"Membership in ACHCA has helped me improve the quality of care I provide to our residents. I am grateful for this recognition as I continue to deliver exceptional service for Fairhaven Community," Bare said.
Since 2009, Bare has been certified as a nursing home administrator through ACHCA and serves as president of the Ohio Chapter. Bare joined Fairhaven as interim administrator on Jan. 7, 2013.
Fairhaven Community is a nonprofit organization providing, primarily to adults, housing, health care and other services which are responsive to the needs of the whole person and based on Christian values. Founded in 1916, Fairhaven is a community of United Church Homes, one of the largest providers of senior living. Fairhaven currently serves more than 185 seniors.
