/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Florida Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) has now opened its newest chapter for the national organization of Young Americans for Freedom.
The Florida Young Americans for Freedom is a part of a national movement, Young Americans for Freedom, that is redoubling its efforts to fight for less government, more freedom, and a foreign policy that does not bend over backwards to dictators that would love to kill America's freedom.
"We have been hit with a lot of resistance. Daniel P. Diaz, our State President, was almost arrested on Florida Atlantic University for having an informational meeting about starting a conservative group on campus," says Daniel Landolfi, State Treasurer of Florida Young Americans for Freedom. "This resistance isn't coming from the students though, it's the teachers and administrators.
Daniel Diaz said, "If we were a Marxist, Socialist or Liberal group they would have let us finish our meeting, but the university officials and police harassed us because we are conservatives." Diaz added, "This was the exact liberal bias on campus that I was discussing in the meeting that these future YAFers experienced firsthand. The university is no longer a place of open discussion and freedom of expression, but a breeding ground of intolerance for conservative beliefs."
