/24-7PressRelease/ -- The DegreeZero force, now based in Los Angeles, has just enlisted the vocals and vision of father, Greg Alan Lefholz to produce a one of a kind project, blurring the lines of electronica, blues and pop, created with DJs in mind.
The first release, a teaser of the coming EP, was produced using Greg's a'capella vocals, recorded by Derek on location in Lexington, MO. Derek aka DegreeZero then composed, played and mixed an original track on guitar, synthesizers and world percussion, in his studio, The Sounding Pad LA. His brother, Dustin through mix consultation, vocal mixing and mastering at Direct Impact Productions based in the Nashville area, brought the track to the professional climate. Using the ProTools 8 and Logic Pro 8 audio software programs, the three have produced what has turned out to be a genre defying, up-tempo song about loneliness, emotion and willingness see life through an un-muddied lens.

When asked about the project, Derek noted, "We are extremely happy to see the positive reception of the single." With the single now released to a global audience, in over 60 markets, the trio plans to keep the focus and momentum going until the June 2009 release of the project tentatively entitled, "This Side of Heaven".
As Greg puts it, "Through the years of performing and recording never did I think I would find such a rewarding project that blurs the lines I am use to as a musician. The fact that my son's have envisioned and brought this to fruition is a blessing."
Proceeds from the sale of the single and EP will be donated to a partner charity for the project.
