/24-7PressRelease/ -- World famous jazz pianist Robert Irving III, former Miles Davis' musical director and collaborator will perform at the River North Coffee Cafe in Harvey, Illinois before departing for Europe to tour with the Last Poets. Irving has worked with the best jazz musicians in the industry including Ramsey Lewis, Lenny White, and David Murray, just to name a few. Irving will perform hits from his latest CD, "New Momentum" on the Sonic Portraits Entertainment label.
Irving offers a fresh jazz perspective and presents beautiful arrangements and compositions that are both creative and innovative. An accomplished painter, Irving has beautiful visual works of arts for each musical composition, as he
believes that music is art that you can hear. Joining Mr. Irving is Larry Gray on bass and Ernie Adams on drums.
The trio will perform at the River North Coffee Cafe on Friday March 27, 2009 at 6:00p.m. The River North Coffee Cafe, located at 369 East 147th Street in Harvey, Illinois offers downtown fine dining in the south suburbs. The cafe is
conveniently located adjacent to the Metra train station. River North's Chef Carter prepares Caribbean cuisine that excites the palate every evening.
Chicago author Diane Martin will read from her latest novel, "Fallen Angel".
