Good news vis-a-vis California businesses has been rare in recent years, but sales of Cannon products have been booming: so much so that the number of employees has increased 40% just since the first of the year. The company now boasts 200 employees in California alone, and 500 worldwide.
When asked about the secrets to the company's success when so many others are struggling, Cannon president Aaron Baker replied: "Our people are what make us successful. After touring Cannon Safe's manufacturing facilities and warehouse, Ms. Whitman took the time to speak with administration staff as well.
