Have You or Your Child Experienced a Concussion or Neck Injury?

NFL legend Jim McMahon knows your pain.

The rise in head and neck injuries such as concussions and whiplash has left many people with long-term, life-altering symptoms and pain, and little relief.

STAMFORD, CT, December 19, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Renowned NFL Chicago Bears quarterback, Jim McMahon is teaming up with Stamford Hospital, the Trauma Imaging Foundation, Dr. Scott Bender of the Connecticut Spine and Health Center and Dr. Scott Rosa, cranio-cervical specialists, in a free presentation to talk about the exciting new Image Guided Atlas Treatment that literally changed his life. The presentation will be held on January 16, 2014, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Chelsea Piers, 1 Blachley Road, Stamford, CT.

McMahon took a beating on the football field for 15 years, experiencing a number of concussions which left him with searing headaches, memory loss and the early stages of dementia. But after undergoing Image Guided Atlas Treatment, his headaches were relieved and he's able to be much more active again. Now he wants to help educate the public about the new Image Guided Atlas treatment which has made profound improvements in the care of concussion patients.

The rise in head and neck injuries such as concussions and whiplash has left many people with long-term, life-altering symptoms and pain, and little relief. Many of these people have been misdiagnosed and overlooked, and the longer an injury goes untreated, the more devastating its effects. Even minor trauma, if left untreated, may lead to a number of neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimers and Parkinson's Disease.

Conventional imaging technology has fallen short in revealing injuries to the fragile structures of the head and neck. However, the revolutionary Image Guided Atlas treatment coupled with the upright MRI significantly increases the potential for detection of injury. Detection is the operative word, and attendees to the presentation will learn:
- how to recognize symptoms
- the cause of brain injuries
- the anatomy behind the injuries
- the treatment options
- how best to manage symptoms
- clear steps on how to proceed toward recovery

Life is a lot more comfortable for Jim McMahon these days, and his outlook more positive. For more information, to hear his story personally and attend the free presentation, register at http://bit.ly/HeadNeckPain or call Dr. Scott Bender at 203-967-8888 or [email protected].
