The Henry Holland for Pretty Polly suspender tights have become a wardrobe staple for celebrities and fashion-followers alike, so fans of the style will be champing at the bit to snap up the new Chain Suspender Tights (GBP14.95). The semi-opaque leg in classic black is topped with a sheer panel printed with a chunky gold chain suspender, and is a hit with Pixie Lott who wore them to perform at V Festival.
There are also three pairs of socks with the new metallic chain design knitted in at just GBP9.95 per pair: the Anklet Knee Sock featuring a gold chain at the ankle with dangling 'H' logo; the Ball and Chain Sock with metallic chain and 'H' charm around the calf; and last but not least, the Triple Chain Sock as seen on Pixie Geldof at Glastonbury, which has three sparkling gold chains around the calf. Henry Holland has designed a unique bandana pattern for this collection, and there are four new hosiery styles featuring the print. The Bandana Tights (GBP11.95) have a sheer leg dotted with the lacy bandana motif, and have been spotted on both Henry's best friend Agyness Deyn and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, as well as featuring in the House of Holland Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalk show in all the colours: black, grey and purple.
A scaled-down version of the pattern appears on both the Bandana Over The Knee Tights and Bandana Suspender Tights (GBP11.95 each) which both come in fashion's favourite colour, black. The Bandana Over The Knee Tights are printed to mid-thigh where the legs meet a mock-hold-up top in an intricate lace pattern, while the Bandana Suspender Tights are 'held up' by a zig-zag mock suspender attached to their printed lace tops.
The real show-stoppers of the Bandana range are the Bandaknees Tights, which have a sheer leg in black, grey or purple finished with a diamond-shaped bandana print over the knees. The two-tone print is a really directional option and at just GBP14.95 these are a high-fashion style everyone can enjoy experimenting with.
Lastly, a Henry Holland collection would barely be complete without the invention of a new word, and here it is: Elastock! Simple yet striking at the same time, these socks and stockings consist of a plain opaque black leg finished with contrasting white elastic emblazoned with the House of Holland logo to keep them up. The Knee High Elastock (GBP14.99) and Over The Knee Elastock (GBP19.99) will add a touch of Henry's signature street-cool to any look but, saving the best for last, it's the Suspender Elastock (GBP25.00) that will cause jaws to drop! The thigh-high socks alone might sound innocent enough, but when they're held up by House of Holland-printed elastic garters, they're an altogether more daring but inevitably highly-coveted choice.
