DENVER, CO, April 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Education career opportunities provide excellent incomes, great benefits, and strong upward mobility potential, along with the chance to really make a difference. Denver's Society of Hispanic Human Resource Professionals (SHHRP), values education, embraces diversity, and has a stellar, 17-year history of creating venues to connect people of all backgrounds, with prime job opportunities. SHHRP's April 24th, Diversity in Education Job Fair will feature both Colorado and New Mexico school systems looking to secure employees for hundreds of jobs throughout their districts. ---
Last year's Diversity in Education Job Fair drew in over 700 job seekers of all backgrounds and education levels. Bus drivers, kitchen workers, office and facilities support staff, administrators and teachers will all be recruited at the event, being held on April 24th, in the grand ballroom of The Denver Athletic Club. There are even aggressive new programs allowing qualified college-educated job seekers, to transition into teaching, while earning an income and working toward certification.
Confirming the value of The Diversity in Education Job Fair, this year's fair coordinator, Martina Will, who holds a PhD in History, shares her gratitude for the organization, for the job connection she made at last year's Diversity in Education Job Fair. Martina is proud to be joining the teaching staff at Regis University this fall and quickly adds, "I cannot wait to be back in a classroom!"
Colorado's school systems have a near 21% minority student base, while only 7% of the staff reflects this same diversity. And, though the catalyst for SHHRP's passionate mission is deeply rooted in serving the Hispanic community, LeRoy Romero, Founder and President, is especially proud that all the organization's job fairs actively promote opportunities for everyone in the marketplace.
The Diversity in Education Job Fair is free to job seekers, and is being held in The Grand Ballroom of The Denver Athletic Club in Downtown Denver, at 1325 Glenarm Place.
The recruitment program will run from 9:00 to 3:00 on April 24th. SHHRP invites job seekers, the unemployed, underemployed, new graduates, and even late career changers to learn more about the event at http://SHHRP.net or to call Martina Will, Ph.D., Education Fair Coordinator at 303.956.7006.
