HomeAid Inland Empire Project Playhouse Pet Edition Fundraiser Set to be Held at Eastvale Gateway Shopping Center on November 17
The public is invited to support HomeAid Inland Empire and local shelter providers by bidding on 8 one-of-a-kind pet playhouses at the Project Playhouse Pet Edition auction and raffle on November 17. A 'Paws for a Cause' walk is also planned.

    RIVERSIDE, CA, November 02, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- HomeAid Inland Empire will stage its first Project Playhouse Pet Edition fundraising event at the Eastvale Gateway Shopping Center on Saturday, November 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

As part of the event festivities, eight very creative pet houses will be raffled and auctioned to help provide much-needed funding for HomeAid Inland Empire to continue renovating and building quality shelter facilities to temporarily house homeless individuals and families in San Bernardino and Riverside counties as they try to rebuild their lives.

In addition to the pet house raffle and auction, there will be a "Paws for a Cause" Pet Walk to bring more awareness to the ever-increasing homeless problem for people and pets throughout the Inland Empire. Several pet service venders will also take part in the fundraising event activities.

U.S. Bank is the primary sponsor for this important HomeAid Inland Empire fundraising event; other sponsors and pet house builders include Capital Pacific Real Estate, the Lewis Group of Companies, Gothic Landscape, T-Mobile, Developers Edge, BMG Marketing Group, Fusion Sign & Design, Driver SPG, Pardee Homes, KB Home, Crestwood Communities, McKendall Construction, Paul A. Peck & Associates Engineers, the SJVC Construction Management Club, the California Baptist University Construction Management Club, the Home Builder Institute (HBI) C-core program, and the California Job Corps, as well as the Riverside County and Baldy View Building Industry Association (BIA) chapters.

"Our Project Playhouse Pet Edition fundraising event is a great opportunity for us to provide our outstanding building industry and corporate partners as well as the general public with a unique and fun way to continue to make a significant financial commitment to help HomeAid fulfill our mission to assist people who are homeless in the Inland Empire," he added.

HomeAid Inland Empire's nine current service provider partners, including Olive Crest, Operation SafeHouse, Path of Life Ministries, Mary's Mercy Center/Veronica's Home of Mercy, Foothill Family Shelter, Corona Norco Rescue Mission, Project T.O.U.C.H., Family Assistance Program Our House Youth Shelter, and the Children's Fund of San Bernardino County, will all benefit from the proceeds raised from the pet house raffle with 40% of the ticket sale proceeds to be given to the service providers. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each or five for $20.

A non-profit organization, HomeAid Inland Empire is the charitable arm of the Riverside County and Baldy View Building Industry Association (BIA) chapters. During the past 22 years, HomeAid has built or renovated more than 20 facilities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties housing over 700 beds valued at nearly $16.2 million, with the Inland Empire homebuilding industry providing over $5.4 million in in-kind donations of labor and materials.
