/24-7PressRelease/ -- Apple is changing the way people do business. That's what Satoshi Nakajima and Pete Stoppani, long time employees of Microsoft, believed as they started exclusively developing iOS apps for their most recent company, neu.Pen LLC. Their first application, neu.Notes+, a simple yet sophisticated drawing app for iPhones and iPads, proved to be so popular that it became the number one paid iPad app in Japan, getting over 2000 downloads a day.
Their most recent application, neu.Annotate+ PDF, could be called the business version of neu.Notes+, enriched with features uniquely designed to remove the need to print, scan, or fax documents ever again. The app allows users to easily read and share PDFs, highlight text, mark up the document with different colored pens, and add photos and texts. Since its release in November 2011, the app has been praised online as a must-have tool for educators, doctors, and architects, to name a few.
One teacher from Austin, Texas, uses the app for paperless grading, while another from Indiana has students completing assignments directly on the app! Real estate agents, architects, and carpenters are using the app to read, fill, edit, and send documents to both their clients and vendors.
Satoshi and Pete first started working together back in 1997 at Microsoft. They worked together at UIEvolution, Satoshi as Founder and CEO, and Pete as the first employee and later VP of Engineering. Today, it's just the two of them working on neu.Pen products. When asked why the change, Pete responded, "it's nice to be doing mostly coding, developing software to make the world a better place!"
neu.Annotate+ PDF is receiving a big update and will be discounted to $0.99 for two weeks starting February 4th, 2012.
