Prior to founding Chicago-based Identity Dental Marketing in September 2009, Rizza studied advertising and psychology at the Marquette University's School of Communication in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduation, she worked in sales for a well-known establishment in the fast-paced city of Chicago. She then took on the role of Director of Marketing for a multiple location dental practice. As to why she ultimately chose to start her own dental marketing company, Rizza stated, "In my first quarter as marketing director, I tripled the number of new patients being seen on a monthly basis without expanding the marketing budget. I knew that I could do this for other dentists and I knew I could make it affordable for them too."
Rizza has spent the last 5 years attending seminars, reading dental books and becoming fully acquainted with the unique needs of a dentist. She has not only mastered patient acquisition strategies, but assists her clients with their internal communication and helps them work as a team. She believes effective marketing starts on the inside and works its way out. A method she calls "Inside-Out Marketing".
Noting the expansion of the firm, Rizza has connected with the prestigious Academy of Dental CPAs in a joint venture to increase revenue for their clients and awareness of current dental marketing trends. On January 29th 2012, Rizza will be a keynote speaker at the ADCPA's Annual Continuing Education Getaway in Aruba, a week long retreat where attending dentists will learn the latest trends in dental business strategies.
When asked the key to Identity' s consistent growth patterns, Rizza responded, "Knowing your client and listening to them. Not every dentist has the same goal of wanting to be a high volume practice. One may just want to attract 5 more big cases each month. I strive to provide customized service, founded on integrity. That is going to get them the results they want."
