IEEW CEO Dr. Terry Neese Joins Area Leaders To Host High Tea For International Women's History Month
March 2 Event Will Benefit The Institute For Economic Empowerment Of Women And Its International Women In PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS Program

    OKLAHOMA CITY, March 01, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) (http://ieew.org), a nonprofit organization that encourages the empowerment of women through education and mentorship, has announced that CEO Dr. Terry Neese will assist in hosting a High Tea Saturday, March 2 in celebration of International Women's History Month. The tea will be held at the home of Natalie Shirley, president of Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City and former secretary of commerce and tourism and executive director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, and will benefit IEEW and its PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS Program, a business training and mentorship program for women entrepreneurs in Afghanistan and Rwanda. Attendees will gather to hear emotional success stories from students such as Alka Sadat and Anne Mazimhaka, who are helping women out of poverty, oppression and marginalization through their work in developing their entrepreneurial skills to create leaders with an emphasis in accounting, marketing and operations in Afghanistan and Rwanda.

Neese is joined by Dr. Susan Chambers, Linda Haneborg, Christy Everest, Jan Hill, Nancy Hyde, Lou Kerr, Judy Love, Ella McDonald and Mary Melon as the event's host committee.
