IMTC Brasil 2014, the International Money Transfer Conference and Trade Fair, Comes Back to Sao Paulo from March 26-28 Reuniting Payment Companies from Brasil and its Counterparts from All Over the World

    MIAMI, FL, February 17, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- IMTC, in a joint effort with ABRACAM will host the second edition of the conference and trade fair in Sao Paulo bringing together international and Brazilian financial institutions - Banks, Money Transfer Companies, Forex Firms, Mobile Payment providers, Card Companies (Credit, debit, prepaid), internet based payment systems - to a country that has seen a major development of its outbound money transfer market in just two years.

Geraldo Magela, Executive Secretary of Brazil's Central Bank and Antonio Carlos Ferreira, Director of Analysis and Supervision of COAF-MF, the country's anti-money laundering body, will inaugurate the conference where presentations of money transfer and forex experts will be offered, together with panels moderated by IMTC, ABRACAM and ABMTransf.

Other highlights will be the presence of Emilio Garofalo Filho, leading expert in the modernization of Brazil's forex regulations, Oscar Boidanich from SEPRELAD, Paraguay's anti-money laundering body and a Panel on Virtual Currencies, where the future of Bitcoin and other digital currencies will be explored.

Brazil has been very active opening its financial sector, modernizing regulations, strengthening compliance, as the country moves to overtake France as the fifth largest economy in the world. Brazil is also preparing for the World Cup and the Olympics. Brazil growth has attracted a large number of migrants, especially from Paraguay and Bolivia, boosting the growing remittance market.
