/24-7PressRelease/ - TAMPA, FL, November 02, 2007 -- The Fish and Wildlife agency says "in recent years over 140 Bald and Gold Eagles have died" along with numerous other wildlife. Our national symbol is being killed from consuming pentobarbital euthanized animals. But the FDA has determined pet foods that contain pentobarbital to be safe for pets to consume.

Many of the most popular dog foods and cat foods available today contain ingredients that could include pentobarbital. It is NOT marked on the label. Worse yet - because of the FDA's approval - it is perfectly legal for dogs and cats to consume in their pet food a chemical that is responsible for the death of endangered wildlife.

Petsumer Report is the only pet food and pet treat review publication that gives pet owners the vitally important information about dog food or cat food that the packaging or label does not provide. Including 'red flag' ingredients that could contain pentobarbital, chemical preservatives, imported ingredients, and much more. Susan Thixton, pet food expert, developed the pet food review publication from the requests of pet owners nationwide.

"If a pet food contains ingredients with harmful chemicals - at the very least, pet owners deserve to know about it. Petsumer Report not only gives pet owners information about potentially dangerous ingredients, it also alerts them to chemical preservatives, and if the pet food manufacturer uses US Only or imported ingredients" says Thixton. Petsumer Report also informs subscribers of higher quality ingredients such as human grade pet food ingredients and added health bonuses like proteinated minerals and probiotics.

Petsumer Report currently has ratings and ingredient information on over 300 pet foods and treats. At least 40 new products are added monthly. Future plans are to provide similar 'petsumer' information on pet toys, bedding, and various other pet supplies. A yearly subscription to the online magazine is $15.37. Subscribers are provided 24/7 access to reviews.
