- Galliano, LA, April 24, 2008, Jackie Serigny, Manager and Optician for Wal-Mart Vision Center, has been recognized by

Ms. Serigny brings 13 years of professional experience to Wal-Mart Vision Center. She specializes in managing operations, working with insurance companies, submitting claims for patients and performing pre-screenings as a pre-determination for a patient's prescription. Her duties include assisting the optometrist and doctor, hiring and training staff and conducting on-board training programs. As manager and optician, Ms. Serigny places emphasis on offering only expert advice on vision correction and providing personalized service in helping patients find the best frames, lenses and contact lenses. Her customer-oriented approach has bore fruit in the expansion of the Vision Center's client base.
In addition to being American Board of Opticianry Certified, Ms. Serigny holds a Diploma in Accounting. She aspires to earn a dual certification from the American Board of Opticianry by also obtaining her National Contact Lens Examiners certification. She may be contacted through email at
