James A. Prust Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in the Nonprofit Sector

James A. Prust provides conductive education programs to children and young adults with neuromotor impairments



    CLAREMONT, CALIFORNIA, December 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James A. Prust, President of ConductAbility, Inc., was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

After working in the financial industry, Mr. Prust realized that he wanted to establish a career where he could really help people, which is why he co-founded ConductAbility Inc. This nonprofit organization has been providing conductive education programs for children from 6 months old to young adults since 1997. The programs work to develop the abilities of people with neuromotor impairments in both public special education and private settings. Program participants experience growth physically, cognitively, and socially resulting in increased self-esteem and independence.

As the president of the organization, Mr. Prust exercises oversight over administrative functions, program operations, and client relations. His specific responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, financial reporting, grant writing, and contract negotiation. Prior to establishing ConductAbility, he worked as a CPA for Wallenbrock & Seltzer and as a tax administrator at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Mr. Prust is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in theology of disability at Regent University, and earned his master's degree in divinity and disability studies at Azusa Pacific University and his bachelor's degree in accounting at Arizona State University. He is a board member of the Association for Conductive Education in North America.

With 12 years of industry experience and five years in his current position, he attributes his success to a strong vision, passion, and the support of a great family and co-workers. In five years, Ms. Prust intends to expand the management team, including specialists in marketing and fundraising.
