- Van Horn, TX, March 23, 2008, James Campbell, Owner of Campbell Radiological Consulting Services, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of radiology and imaging.
A 16-year veteran of the healthcare industry with 10 years of experience in ultrasounds, Mr. Campbell is responsible for overseeing the business, marketing, purchasing major equipment and supplies, doing consultant work, designing rooms for optimum workflow, implementing and revising radiation safety programs. He became involved in his profession when his oldest daughter was diagnosed with cancer at 18 months. Since then, he has become passionate about improving radiology and imaging centers, as well as helping to more accurately detect cancer. Mr. Campbell visits stand-alone and hospital-based imaging centers and reviews safety and patient care policies and procedures, to ensure that they follow the ALARA guidelines. In this way, he assists facilities in providing optimum healthcare services to the community, helping along the fastest recoveries possible for patients. Mr. Campbell is currently in the process of establishing a coding business. The most gratifying aspect of his career, he notes, is seeing patients recover. He feels that his greatest accomplishment to date was installing a 16 slice CT scanner and full-service MRI department along with designing a new waiting room that would provide optimum workflow and increase patient comfort.
Mr. Campbell received his Associate Degree in Applied Science and graduated with honors. He holds a Radiology Certificate from Midland College. He is affiliated with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is on the committee on Radiation Control and Protection Division and holds a national registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Mr. Campbell has been an active Radiation Society Officer for 16 years.
Campbell Radiological Consulting Services is a radiology and imaging consulting center that provides a wide array of services to clients, including access to state of the art equipment including computed radiography systems, picture archiving computed systems, x-ray equipment and computed tomography systems.
