With more than six years of professional experience, Ms. Bartenhagen provides design firms and clients with economically and environmentally viable solutions throughout all stages of project design, with emphasis on the application of sustainable landscape architecture principles to redirect traditionally engineered construction. In addition, Ms. Bartenhagen is a graphic designer proficient in the utilization of strategic graphic representation as an effective educational and marketing tool.

Ms. Bartenhagen previously served as a landscape architect at Reed Hilderbrand Associates, Inc. and as a researcher at the Southern Tier Central Planning and Development Board. Her interest in environment, urbanism and design prompted her to become involved in the profession of Landscape Architecture. In 2007 under Reed Hilderbrand Associates, she was honored by the Boston Society of Landscape Architects with a Merit Award for excellence in residential and garden design.

In 2002, Ms. Bartenhagen earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and Applied Design from The University of Vermont and Oxford Brookes University in England.
