SHAVERTOWN, PA, March 12, 2013
/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Jill Evans Kryston, Owner and Director of Defining Manners: A School of Contemporary Protocol, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
Over the years, Ms. Evans Kryston has been no stranger to volunteering and community service. A mother of three, her goal has been to invest in the future of children and create individuals who will contribute positively to society. With this mindset, she formed Defining Manners: A School of Contemporary Protocol, a school that specializes in classes for children and teens, as well as adults and business professionals. Her classes are fun, interactive, and sprinkled with historical perspective.
After her children were of school age, Ms. Evans Kryston worked in a high school guidance office and it was there that she noticed many teens that lacked in communication skills, courtesy and respect. She had been interested in aspects of sociology, which led to her discovery of The International School of Protocol. She then enrolled in their teaching certification program in Baltimore, MD and went on to earn another certification to teach business professionalism. It was only a matter of time before her husband suggested that she start her own school.
As the owner and director of Defining Manners: A School of Contemporary Protocol for the last five years, Ms. Evans Kryston uses her expertise in etiquette and protocol, and her historical research on manners in providing the best services to her clients. She works with people in small groups, develops customized programs, and maintains excellent customer service. Her further responsibilities include marketing, collaborating with national and international professionals, and keeping pace with other etiquette consultants. Additionally, she does consulting work as a subject matter expert and writes a monthly Q & A column for a community newspaper along with a blog for an online family magazine.
Ms. Evans Kryston has studied business and marketing, and holds certifications to teach etiquette to children, teens, adults and business professionals. She is a member of Toastmasters International and The Association of Practicing Consultants. She attributes her success to her will, determination, persistence, and having the determination to continue to grow as long as she has breath. As the years progress, she intends to expand beyond her region, complete a book, and conduct webinars.
