SAN JACINTO, CA, October 14, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joan A. Maring, Author, Inventor of Mari-Bells Enterprise, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in literary arts.

With 55 years of professional experience, Ms. Maring specializes in poetry writing. She writes children's books, conducts research and writes poems that reflect her love for nature. In addition to her career in writing, she has also invented a bell shaped cover that goes on the light under the eves for Christmas lighting, called Mari-Bells. She was inspired by her mother, who was a writer, to become involved in her profession. She attributes her success to her never-give-up attitude and her desire to advance in the field.

Ms. Maring received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1965. She is a recipient of the 2001 Poet of Merit Award from the International Society of Poets and received The Sandy Nininger Award in 1957. In her spare time, she helps teach a 17-year-old boy in Pakistan English. In the coming years, she intends to write more books and promote Mari-Bells.
