OLD BRIDGE, NJ, June 19, 2009
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Johnny On The Spot, providers of New Jersey's finest portable sanitation services since 1970, displayed its versatility and lightning quick response time by providing temporary fencing around the site of a sizeable and stubborn fire that destroyed the Memory Bowling Alley in Shrewsbury, N.J., on the morning of June 5.
The company added temporary fencing rentals to its product offerings in 2008.
Responding immediately to the request, a crew of four from Johnny On The Spot arrived on the scene within 90 minutes to install 600 linear feet of 6' x 12" fencing secured by sandbags. The fire, which was battled by departments from several local communities, raged for several hours, closing local roads and forcing evacuations in the vicinity. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
"Our work in quickly securing the site helped to ensure safety for residents close by while providing security to fire investigators and other emergency personnel," said Johnny On The Spot Operations Manager Marv Hyer, who was on the scene. "We were very pleased to be able to assist in such an unfortunate, yet important community effort."
