    Atlanta, GA, January 18, 2013 /Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Joseph A. Gaeta, president and chief executive officer for the The Joan Gaeta Lung Cancer Fund, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Since its inception in November of 2007, Mr. Gaeta has been the president and chief executive officer of The Joan Gaeta Lung Cancer Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation for lung cancer advocacy. The foundation is named after Mr. Gaeta's mother — a nonsmoker who, at the age of 69, passed away due to the disease. Since it began, the organization has raised more than $200,000 for lung cancer awareness and it has been featured on the Nancy Grace program and in a National Public Radio interview.

Mr. Gaeta received a bachelor of arts in history from Georgia State University. He is currently also a sales representative for IBM. After working for the company for five years, he spent several years as a channel sales manager for SkyTel and EarthLink, Inc. He has been back at IBM since September 2010, and serves as a Tivoli Software Brand Specialist. In 2001, Mr. Gaeta completed the IBM Leadership Development Program. In 2012, he was distinguished with a Business Unit Executive Award from IBM.
