With more than 30 years of experience in educational research and teaching in mathematics, Dr. Teresa possesses a depth of experience in both the public and private sectors. At the U.S. Department of Education he conducted educational research analysis from initial concept and design to the final data presentation, and led a data analysis team of more than 80 employees. Dr. Teresa was one of the developers of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and oversaw the annual Higher Education General Information System survey (HEGIS) (now the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System).

In the private sector Dr. Teresa's work includes development of a management information system for Norfolk-Southern Corporation and teaching statistical methods for Ford Motor Company.

Dr. Teresa has taught science at the elementary level and graduate courses in mathematics and statistics at the University of Michigan, the University of Maryland, the University of Arkansas, and Bluefield College. Additionally, Dr. Teresa has developed an online mathematics program to assist elementary school teachers at www.Teacher2Teachermathprog.org

Dr. Teresa holds a Ph.D. in Education (Mathematics) from the University of Michigan. Quality Associates is a not-for-profit consultancy with an emphasis on elementary education in mathematics.
