    NEW HAMPTON, NY, February 8, 2013 /Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Juanita R. Pfluger, Pharmacist for the Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center of the New York State Office of Mental Health, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceuticals.

One may think all a pharmacist does is dispense medications. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. With 18 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, this is only one small part of Ms. Pfluger's daily responsibilities. A registered pharmacist through St. John's University since 1992, she researches diabetes treatments and conducts lectures on psychiatric treatment.

While pursuing a career as a microbiologist, Ms. Pfluger developed an interest in psychiatric pharmaceutical research. For nearly 20 years, she has served as a pharmacist for the Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center at the New York State Office of Mental Health. She attributes her success to her empathetic attitude and deep desire to help people, and in the future expects to become a certified diabetic counselor.
