/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Judy McKenzie Wall, a retired administrative law judge and board member for the Eastern Washington Growth Management Hearings Board, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in legal services.
With an exemplary career in legal services that lasted 15 years before retiring, Ms. Wall had the opportunity to interact with many governors, agency heads and judges, affecting positive change within state governments. Recognized as an expert mediator, she helped to change the way things were done through the utilization of mediation. Ms. Wall is accredited in 14 different areas of mediation through the Washington Mediation Association, and has taught other judges through The National Judicial College.
Ms. Wall served on the Eastern Washington Growth Management Hearings Board, where she was charged with managing every third case on growth management issues. She also did a great deal of public speaking and represented the organization on the governor's agency cabinet. During her tenure in this role, she received an array of commendations from Governor Gary Locke for her work to initiate a networking group, conserve costs, and mediate with other state agencies. Ms. Wall was also named the Citizen of the Year by the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce.
Through The National Judicial College, on site at the University of Nevada, Ms. Wall has become certified in judicial development on two separate occasions, concentrating on administrative law adjudication at one time, and on alternative dispute resolution during the other. Ms. Wall continues to be involved in her community through volunteering her time. She is a member of the Washington Mediation Association, sat on the board of the Lake Chelan Republican Women's Club, served as a commissioner for Lake Chelan Community Hospital, and served on the Lake Chelan Hospital Foundation and two hospital guilds helping to raise money for the hospital.
In 2010, Ms. Wall was selected by Worldwide Who's Who as a Top Industry Expert in Legal Services. In 2011, she was chosen to represent the Legal Services field as a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year. She will be featured in an upcoming edition of Pro-Files Magazine. In 2012, she gained the Worldwide Who's Who Lifetime Achievement distinction. Recently, she was recognized by Top Elite Executives for her contributions to the justice system.
