Ms. Lidsell has almost 25 years of professional experience

    MILAN, ITALY, February 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Katja Lidsell, Chief Operating Officer of Leonardo & Co., was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Lidsell has almost 25 years of professional experience, and recently became the COO Europe of Leonardo & Co in late 2012, after having spent 13 years at Lazard, which she joined in 2000 Her latest position in Lazard was European Administrative Director. She started her career in 1989, when she moved from Stockholm, Sweden, to Milan, Italy. Ms Lidsell started on the lower side of the echelon, and worked her way up in the career ladder. She spent a few years in the IKEA build up team when IKEA decided to create a presence in the Italian market, moving to M&A in 1992, when she joined one of the biggest pharmaceutical conglomerates, Pharmacia, and worked on the merger with Upjohn (later, Pfizer). In 1997 she changed jobs joining A.T. Kearney management consultants as Director of Operations for the Mediterranean Unit. Over the years, she has established herself as an expert in the interpretation of human resources regulations and international labor laws. She is able to navigate her way through complicated contracts, investment banking and financial services. On a daily basis, she is responsible for countries locally and regionally, . Ms. Lidsell also handles senior contracts and the financial metrics of the company, all while serving as the CEO's "right-hand" and senior advisor, problem solver and morale booster throughout the offices. Leonardo & Co. is a financial advisory firm that provides financial advisory services in the M&A arena. Looking back, Ms. Lindsell attributes her success to her hard work and her capacity to learn, interpret and deliver. She is positioned for global human resources leadership as an energetic business builder and leader who can bring order out of chaos on the global business scale.

Ms. Lidsell studied languages and history and Stockholm University, Sweden. She also studied finance for non-finance managers through the Darden Business School of the University of Virginia. Additionally, she studied international labor law through courses and seminars at IUS LABORIS, London, New York City, and Milan. In years to come, Ms. Lidsell intends to obtain more exposure in the field.
