KITE360 revolutionizes the online presence of the extreme sport of kiteboarding, also known as kite surfing. Kite360 combines an online member community with a searchable location database, user product reviews, a worldwide business directory, event listings, and job postings.
The member community features functionality common to standard online communities, such as adding photos, videos, and networking with friends and groups - tailored to the sport of kiteboarding. The travel section provides the capability to search for destinations based on experience level, water conditions, wind probability, and geographic area.
Integration of the member community with destination information provides one click access to local retailers, riders, accommodations, and bulletin boards. Users have the ability to research kites, boards, harnesses, and accessories, as well as read and write reviews. KITE360 is being developed and released through a phased approach. Additional features will be added based on feedback and suggestions as the community grows.
Kiteboarding is a rapidly expanding sport around the world, which combines the power of a kite to propel a rider through the water on a board.
