    SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV, June 25, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Dr. Kitty A. Koepping, Professor for Shepherd University, Hagerstown Community College, and Berkeley County Adult and Community Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of computer education.

With 30 years of experience as an educator, Dr. Koepping is considered to be an authority on computer language and application, and Microsoft and Novell software. Since 2003, she has been teaching at Shepherd, HCC, and Berkeley, where she conducts classes in Microsoft Office, beginning computers, home computer security and cyber security, as well as resume writing and business ethics. In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. Koepping does editing work for The McGraw-Hill Companies and serves in the federal government, from which she hopes to retire in order to teach full-time. A self-described born teacher, she attributes her success to the support she receives from her husband.

Dr. Koepping received her Doctor of Science in Information Technology in 2007 from Bedford University, from which she graduated magna cum laude. Additionally, she earned her Master's Degree in Computer Science in 2007, also from Bedford University, and her Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and Finance in 1996 from California State University. She is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha and in 2007 was honored with a Certificate of Distinction in Data Structures and Algorithms. In her spare time, Dr. Koepping teaches computer basics to inmates at the Maryland Correctional Facility. She recently completed a book on Microsoft Office and is working on getting it published.
