Kris Wagner Aims to Maintain Excellence in Commercial Dispute Resolution

Kris Wagner celebrates nearly two decades in commercial dispute resolution

With nearly two decades of practiced experience in his field, Dr. Wagner is uniquely positioned to oversee a wide range of tasks on behalf of two different firms

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, January 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kris Wagner, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Dispute Resolution (www.cedires.com), and Partner at Holmes Kirby (www.holmeskirby.com) has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in commercial dispute resolution services.

With nearly two decades of practiced experience in his field, Dr. Wagner is uniquely positioned to oversee a wide range of tasks on behalf of two different firms. During the course of his daily duties, in his capacity as chairman of the board for the Center for Dispute Resolution, he educates businesses on the advantage of arbitration and mediation as a preferred method of conflict resolution. Moreover, CEDIRES provides a more cost-effective venue to facilitate those services in any areas of national or international business or investment disputes. For those who want to avoid lengthy and costly court proceedings, CEDIRES provides the ideal solutions. They organize proceedings in English, French and Dutch all around the world. In addition to his work with The Center for Dispute Resolution, Dr. Wagner is also a partner at Holmes Kirby, which represents international clientele in commercial dispute proceedings (litigation as well as arbitration). His most recent book (a 1101 page textbook on civil procedure in Belgium) was published early 2014.

Dr. Wagner excels in his field due to a combination of his prior experiences in the legal industry in prominent international law firms and his educational background. He holds a Ph.D. in law from Leuven University, which he earned in 2006, as well as a Master of Laws from Harvard University, earned almost a decade earlier. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding for excellence in his field. Looking ahead, Dr. Wagner plans to continue educating others on the importance of seeking arbitration, as well as acting as counsel or arbitrator in national and international commercial disputes.
