In addition, Mrs. Waller is in charge of marketing, communicating with other agents and dealing with lawyers during closings. Personally responsible for managing the company's online image on various social media venues, she attends webinars and marketing classes to gain inspiration for incorporating further changes that will positively impact business. As the broker for Cedarglen Realty Services Inc., Tom Waller personally assists his Cedarglen clients in achieving their home buying and selling goals. Beginning in high school as a result of a long standing fascination with the housing industry, Mr. Waller took on construction related summer jobs and completed an appraisal course at a community college. He then went on to enjoy 25 rewarding years as a licensed realtor in Calgary, the latter half of which he has been working as a full broker. By utilizing his background in appraisal, Mr. Waller sets himself apart from other realtors.
He is able to ensure that buyers do not overpay and that the price they do pay makes sense. For sellers, he integrates his appraisal skills into his already extensive knowledge of the real estate market both within the city and in outlying areas as well.
Mr. Waller consistently places in the top 1% of all Calgary realtors for MLS residential listings on an annual basis. Having developed a strong, intuitive knowledge of residential real estate, he takes pride in his work because he is able to effectively communicate and share this knowledge with his clients, ensuring they make the best decisions when it comes to buying and/or selling their homes. His top priorities as a realtor are to always maintain accurate pricing and expedient delivery for each and every client.
Being as active as he is in the industry, Mr. Waller remains excited to continue to set ever more challenging goals for himself. He plans to broaden his experience in existing passions, such as inner city development and new home construction. Mrs. Waller plans to continue to expand the business and eventually bring someone in to help manage the company. She would love to be able to take some time to travel and see the world. Tom Waller is a member of the Calgary Real Estate Board, and in April 2011, Mr. Waller obtained million dollar club status with the organization for the 13th consecutive year.
