Ms. Cockle has 37 years of professional experience
BRIGHTON, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, October 29, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Linda Cockle, Chief Executive Officer of Keyboard Concepts Pty Ltd, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.
Ms. Cockle has 37 years of professional experience, with 27 years as the CEO of Keyboard Concepts Pty Ltd. Over the years, she has established herself as an expert in training and assessment. In the course of her duties, she is responsible for managing the welfare for the business, as well as acting as a senior trainer and course assessor. Ms. Cockle regularly oversees the registered training of long-term job seekers, and she ensures the continued high quality of the organization's services and administration.
Ms. Cockle incorporated Keyboard Concepts Pty Ltd in 1986 to help people who had been out of the workforce gain the technological skills they needed to return to work. The company has been a registered training organization since 2002, and has held a Victorian government training contract for the past four years. They work with job seekers and long-term unemployed clients, as well as corporate organizations and health networks. Ms. Cockle volunteers with her husband to mentor children with driving. Before they can apply for licenses, candidates must acquire 120 hours of driving experience with another person, and most don't have that ability; Ms. Cockle provides them with the required assistance to get them behind the wheel.
Looking back, Ms. Cockle attributes her success to her overpowering wish to see others develop skills, be comfortable in their work and become the best that they can be. She became involved in her profession because she was living is South Africa and owned a farm. She moved back to Australia and had to get back into the workforce; she realized there were a lot of people in the same position as she was in, so she started her business because many people, especially women, had left jobs when typewriters, computers and software packages did not exist. This was her main motivation - giving people the skills to get back into the workforce.
Ms. Cockle received a Certificate IV in training and assessment in Brisbane in 2013. She is a member of VECCI, as well as the Australian Institute of Trainers. To give back to her community, she serves as a volunteer mentor to help children with driving. She also helps disabled children, from ages 6 to 12, ride horses. In years to come, Ms. Cockle plans to work wherever she is needed and wherever her contributions will be meaningful.
