With expertise in intellectual property, child custody and contested divorce law, Ms. Liewald is responsible for applying for and litigating trademark, copyright and family law. After working as a teacher, she helped a friend with landlord and tenant issues and decided to change careers. She then worked as a clerk for an intellectual property firm, where she later became an Associate. She attributes her success to her honesty, fair billing practices, diligence and determination to succeed.
Ms. Liewald received her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1986, Master of Arts in Philosophy and Dual Baccalaureate Degrees. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and former president of the Bohemian Bar Association. In the future, she would like to start her own consulting practice.
