Lisa Marie Paonessa-Charney, BS, RDMS, Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who For Outstanding Achievement in Diagnostic Ultrasonography

Proficient in performing vascular, neurosonography, and gynecological scans, Lisa Marie Paonessa-Charney is well-known as a successful diagnostic ultrasonographer. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English, Ms. Paonessa-Charney lists patient's needs as her highest priority. Specializing in high-risk pregnancy, she always ensures patients feel completely at ease and that her work is extremely thorough.

Ms. Paonessa-Charney holds a bachelor's degree cum laude in radiologic science from Quinnipiac University. Understanding the importance of specialized education, she also completed certifications in obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal sonography, and neurosonography. Ever eager to increase her knowledge within diagnostic sonography, she is currently pursuing certifications in fetal echocardiography, as well as vascular sonography and breast imaging.

Recognized for 27 years of invaluable contributions to the health care industry, Ms. Paonessa-Charney was awarded for Best Paper, entitled "Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiopancreatography", by the School of Radiologic Technology through Hartford Hospital. To keep abreast of medical advances in sonography, she is affiliated with Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Inc., and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Passionate about her community, Ms. Paonessa-Charney is Deacon, committee member, choir member, and serves on the Christian Education and Nurture Committee for the First Congregational Church of Norwalk. She is also an avid supporter of Miller School in Wilton, Connecticut, Goodwill Industries International, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
