Lisa's life took on a whole new meaning, when in December 2003, she was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor. The reality of what was important in Lisa's life came into focus after her diagnosis and miraculous recovery. Because of the importance of living her purposeful life, the launch of Lisa's website is the first step in making her personal dream of a community for women a reality.
Lisa's goal with the launch of the website is not just provide information for women, but an experience. For women who have a faced a life-threatening illness and are looking for support in creating their "new reality", Lisa wants to guide them through the process. For those women who have struggled with always putting others' needs first and are at a point where they are ready to embrace what they have dreamed about for so long; Lisa's objective is to help them envision the next steps. The "purposeful life" community is a place that women can connect with their purpose and through a co-creative process, make their dream a reality.
